I’m Amina. I’m Moroccan, married to an American, and a mom of two wonderful kids, Adam 11 and Sophia 6.
I worked as an English teacher at the American language Center (Casablanca and Rabat) and as an Arabic, French and English teacher in Belgium from 2007 to 2020. After the birth of my second child, I decided it was time to take a new direction and follow another passion of mine: fitness, movement, and well-being. Today, I’m a Zumba and yoga instructor and, more broadly, a movement professional. I love helping people move, feel good, connect, and have fun along the way.
I’m also passionate about nature, exploring, and discovering Morocco. Funny enough, it was actually my American husband who helped me discover so many incredible places in my own country! His love for Morocco has taken us to beautiful corners I didn’t even know existed and made me appreciate my country in a completely different way.
As Activity co-chair at ICOR, I’m excited to share some of that love for Morocco, movement, nature, and well-being with our community. Together with Anne-Lise, we can make this year as active, diverse, fun, and eventful as possible — and create plenty of opportunities to connect, explore, and make great memories together.
I’m looking forward to meeting, moving, exploring, and having fun with all of you!
