My name is Anna Lundberg and I’m from Sweden. In Sweden I have a pedagogical degree. I have been working with both after-school activities and as a PE teacher for over 20 years. I really love my work, it is fantastic to see how the kids grow and how they realize that they can manage things they didn’t know they were able to!

In August 2022 I moved to Rabat with my husband and our two teenage sons, because my husband got a job here in Morocco. This is our first time abroad. 

When I was new here in Rabat, I felt lonely and a little bored without working and having colleagues. After a while I heard about ICOR, and I decided to become a member.

ICOR really saved me when I became a part of it. I met people and had a social life again. For me ICOR has been a good help to adapt to this new situation of being an expat in a new country. I’ve made friends that I think I will know forever!

As a person I’m both social and active. I love to meet people, and I like to run, do work out, ski during wintertime and do sea activities during summertime. I also like to relax and read books.

I’m very excited to be a part of ICORs board this year, and the activities co-chair. I think this will be a great opportunity for me to give back to new arrivers (and of course old members too) what ICOR have done for me.
