A Word From the President
Habiba Boumedien
Two years ago we started this journey together. ICOR was a vision, a dream project of our Founding members; to make a home for people away from home. We learned together. We had good times, some difficult times and plenty of fun times and we made ICOR
what it is today. I can only be extremely proud of and content with those achievements.
The membership trusted us, believed in us, created with us and gave us motivation, courage, ideas and reasons to be. And we have been able to create an incredibly varied programme of activities and opportunities for people to meet and for friendships to grow. We have discovered many places and treasures in Rabat. We have sparked new insights and shared knowledge from the talents inside our ICOR community - calligraphy, nutrition, bagel making and coffee insights are only a few.
The city of Rabat has been an integral part of our existence and we have contributed to our host city through our community engagement initiatives. I am proud to say ICOR has brought many smiles to the faces of children with disabilities at CSK, to children unwell in hospitals and to children in less favourable areas of Rabat. We have shared meals, played, and taught English. And we have IKC (International Kids Club) that has been engaging wonderfully with our smaller members and given ICOR a place in the hearts of families.
ICOR has earned its place in Rabat.
I am deeply touched by all the positive vibes and the wonderful people I meet, the friends for life, the valuable time shared. There are no words to describe the feeling of gratitude.
ICOR is only possible because of you, ICOR is yours, and you are ICOR.
